Assistant Buyer

Provides support as a member of the Product Purchasing team. You will be responsible for the price research, product evaluation and purchasing of products that meet guidelines provided by the Director of the Product Purchasing team and Director of Operations. The Buyer will meet regularly with vendors & brokers to maintain positive relationships. Price negotiation skills are a must. You will be communicating daily with the management team at all of the markets to determine inventory and fulfillment needs of each market. You will frequently inspect and assess all incoming goods to ensure that the quality & sizing is within The Farmers Market Group standards. Exemplary analytical skills with regard to all categories of pricing and ability to excel at interpersonal skills in fast paced environment are a must.
Cashier

Cashiers complete the monetary transaction with customers by scanning and weighing products and accepting money, checks, credit/debit cards, or other form of payment for purchases. Operate cash register in food store or outdoor season shops. Your day to day will include welcoming customers, balancing cash registers, bagging items and generating correct amount of change for customers. You must have a great work ethic, be honest and have a flexible work schedule. You must also be willing to work in other departments as needed. This position requires frequent walking, standing, reaching and bending with occasional lifting up to 10-15 lbs.
